A message from the
president...
Carolina Construction
Co. was chartered in 1989 as a corporation, licensed to do business in
North Carolina. We are bonded and operate with an unlimited license.
We actually started working out of my home, with one 6-man crew. I
worked as a job superintendent during the day and Businessman and Owner
at night. In other words we started at the very bottom.
After finally moving
into an office, an older residential building, we were enjoying all the
work we could get done with two crews, but the recession of 1992 closed
in and it became a time to scratch our way from day to day. Only
because we already knew how to tighten our belts and scramble for the
work were we able to survive; but to the despair of our competitors,
here we are.
At any rate we
continued to be blessed with good work and we continued to grow, soon
out-growing the residence we had managed to work out of for
approximately 8 years. Again, we were blessed by being able to purchase
a parcel of land on a main thoroughfare in Hickory. We are now
operating out of our new office facility, with ample shop and storage
space
Through this period of
13 years, we have grown in size and stature. We are well known and
respected as a competitive contender for any and all types of work. We
are especially skilled in industrial, institutional, educational and
commercial work, as well as being known for our quality craftsmanship as
displayed in several restoration projects. We now have capabilities for
design build projects and work regularly with several clients as problem
solvers, not only correcting the conditions, but also working out the
solution for the correction.
We have come a long way in a relatively
short time.
This is a result of the adopted work rule, “ Always do your best and no
one can ask for more.”
We have earned a reputation of being a fair and honest
company and a company of exceptional quality and efficiency.
Call us for your construction projects.
Let us help you with the design development of
your projects. You will be glad you did.
